Spotlight under OS 10.11 (El Capitan) is less helpful than previous
versions. In the past, in most cases, I just entered the first letter
of the app I wanted to launch and spotlight would show it and I hit
return and the app launched. Now, when I type the first letter the icon
of the app momentarily appears in the righthand corner of spotlight,
and an expanded empty field appears below, as I type the second letter
the same thing happens, eventually after typing more letters the form
is filled in and only then can I press enter to launch the app. Is
anyone else having this problem?
