NTP typically refuses to adjust for more than 30 minutes. Look into the options, there are two things you can try: a) allow it to adjust more than 30 Minutes or so b) allow it to adjust the hardware clock (if it is not doing that) Maybe you just have normal clock-skew which accumulates.
