Throw-away price, who cares about the DRM, Steam-variety or some other flavor. Like the brand-new copy of Riddick Athena/Butcher's Bay in a Newegg clearance sale for $3 with its suffocating Atari 3-install limit. I refused to buy the game when it first came out solely because of the DRM. Loss to the publisher ~ $40. If Valve/Steam GUARANTEED removal of ALL single-player DRM (say) 1 year after initial release of a game, Valve would probably have had over $1000-worth of PC game purchases from me, instead of the measly $150. As it is, I have given far more $$-business to DRM-free "www.gog.com" than I have ever given to Valve. John Lewis
