All of the LCDs I own, which are all good monitors for reading, have
some quality about them that just bums me out whenever I try to play
an FPS on them. I'm not sure if it's input lag (since I haven't done
a side-by-side comparison like that video), ghosting, the mouse lag
introduced by vsync, or a combination of all of the above, I just
can't seem to achieve an experience that I can get excited about with
a shooter. RTS and MMORPG type games (anything with lots of small
text that doesnt require twitch movements) sometimes actually play
better on the LCDs.

I've seen some reviews of 120hz LCDs recently that give me hope.
Overall, have LCDs improved much in the last couple of years? All of
the LCDs I own are admittedly at least two years old.
