   It may depend on where you are located.  I got an Alpha and lots of
   SCSI disks when the University of Maryland at College Park retired
   them from their Linux farm.  I got another when a business up the
   road no longer needed it.

   There may be schools or businesses near you that have Alphas and
   send systems out as excess from time to time.

   And, of course, your favorite search engine may find a sale via some
   other medium than eBay.

   But if I was in a hurry, I'd call the seller listed in that other
   post I just read.
