Thanks, everyone, for your answers. I just found out about indirect indexed addressing, using 16-bit pointers, last night after I posted this message, when I was reading the book by Rodney Zaks. I'm going to try using the indexed addressing first, and see if it is efficient enough for the game I'm trying to make.
