Hello,

The Bazley household (the real one, not my single-person household) is
having a clear out and I have been assigned the task of junk
categorisation. The following items are at risk of ending up in the
proverbial 'big black sack':

The Serial Port joystick interface (for parallel printer port of
Archimedes/A3000). Version 2.02. Boxed with manual and floppy disc.

The Crystal Maze game (for Archimedes, A3010, A3020, A4000 and A5000).
Boxed with manual.

Haunted House game by Gordon Key (for 'all Acorn 32-bit computers -
circa 1993). Boxed with manual.

Saloon Cars game by Andy Swain (for BBC A3000 & Archimedes 310 & 400
series). Boxed with manual.

Wonderland adventure game from Magnetic Scrolls (for Archimedes).
Boxed with manual, map, quick reference guide, etc. Works on a
StrongARM Risc PC with RISC OS 6 after a couple of simple tweaks.

Cyber Chess by William Tunstall-Pedoe (for A3000, A3000 and ALL
Archimedes Computers). Boxed with owner's manual and chess tutorial.

The Missing Dinosaur Bone adventure program by Angelsoft educational
(for 'Acorn Series Computers'). Boxed with manual, curriculum activity
sheets, etc.

Acorn Advance program discs 1 & 2, data disc A. Part numbers 0284,076
074 and 068. No box or manual.

Longman Logotron Advantage by Doug Harrison. Spreadsheet program.
Works on StrongARM Risc PC with RISC OS 6. Comes with manual but no
box.

Longman Logotron Revelation Image Pro. Graphics program. Includes
imagePro 24 supplement for Risc PC. Boxed with manuals. Older program
disc has defects but these only affect a few of the supplied example
graphics and I believe it is obsoleted by the newer program disc,
which works on StrongARM Risc PC with RISC OS 6.

Longman Logotron PenDown Plus. Word processor. Boxed with manuals.
Version 1.49. Works on StrongARM Risc PC with RISC OS 6.

Please reply if you have any interest in these items. Happy new year,
if you read this far.

I don't suppose there's any chance of a photo of the box art and a
screenshot is there please, for a future Wikipedia article? There's
the following CC-BY-SA article which could be imported and added to:
http://chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/Cyber+Chess

Happy New Year to you too!

http://www.apdl.co.uk/riscworld/volume1/issue4/chess/images/fig1.gif has
a screenshot.

Couldn't find a picture of the box art on google.

Alex.

It seems sad to reduce two substantial manuals to a single photo.
Anyway, I'm not in a position to do that any more - it would have to
be my brother Martin, chief photographer.

Cheers,

Christopher Bazley

Thanks - the review itself was helpful.

Harriet sent me links to scans of the box art, which contain more
information than the screenshot in the Foundation RISC World review.
Thanks.
