If anyone has a 586 card spare - I would be interested.

See if I could run it with RO 5.19.

Chris,
Thanks for the offer, I'm in W Yorks.

But please give Colin Ferris first refusal - he has a specific
objective in
mind whereas for me it would be an upgrade/spare (I have a 486DX) for
trying
"pccard linux" - which is towards the bottom of quite a long list!

Andrew

Think I might have one somewhere too. You don't seem in a hurry so remind
me pre-Wakefield, if you still want it, and I'll bring it with me.

I did - haven't been to a Wakefield show since I brought a Phoebe
on loan from TNMoC, which is 6 years ago (I'd have said 4 until
I checked the show reports).

Let's call the reference to Wakefield 2013 a hopeful presumption!

I'm hoping it's a reasonable assumption

I could bring them to the South-east show on 27 Oct but probably not much
good for the Northerners.

Risc PC?
I won't tell you how to take the case apart - you changed the battery
recently as I recall - so with the case open grasp PC card (it's the only
one with a heatsink) and pull upward firmly. Put card in anti-static bag.

If it has a fan attached (A CJE59 5x86!) then its power cable will need
unplugging which can be stiff, but is readily done!
