Hi all,
Is there a definite list of OtherDevs details for the Simtec USB MassFS app?
I recently bought some of the flash drives fro Richard Torrens. At first they
didn't work with my Simtec Unipod on the RiscPC but I ferreted around in my
files & discovered my OtherDevs file wasn't up to date. I had some other sets
of details from various sources, sorted & coalesced them into one file,
weeding out the duplicates. (What a time consuming chore). However, the
drives then worked perfectly.
I now have an OthereDevs file of 103 entries!!!
The list at http://www.riscos.info/index.php/MassFS_OtherDevs_entries
which I think is maintained by Steve Potts has only about 37
The page at RiscInfo file:///IDEFS%3A%3Ah4.%24/USBbits/STD/Devs/DevsRscInf
has a very limited number & must be well out of date.
The URL in the MassFS help file (for creating new details) gives page not
found.
http://www.stdevel.co.uk/massfs.html)
I think CJE keep a list as well because I was given the OtherDevs details
when I purchased something from them.
Using *USBDevices from a Task Window I was able to get the Vendor ID &
Product ID for another pen drive I had & made the details for it. ( The flags
for pen drives appear to be =LR_T or =LR or =L or =LRq so it didn't
take long to get a working model).
So now I have a ne OtherDevs definition but not quite sure where to send it.
or if anyone cares.
Any thoughts out there?
