Booting DOS 6.22 with no autoexec.bat or config.sys files, I get a
screen-worth of normal text (white-on-black). Commands that cause the
screen to scroll produce mostly black-on-black text, with the odd
green, brown or blue character. But if I "cls" then (say) "dir", the
first screen-worth is legible white-on-black. So it is a scrolling
display that mangles the colour scheme. I ought to try again after
configuring the RiscPC to start up in mode 31 or another old wimpmode,
but any thoughts in the meantime welcome.

Andrew
