For some reason, Google Groups won't let me reply to that thread. With the Kinetic disabled, !PC (version 2.06e, which I think was the last podule software) gets as far as booting DOS, but thereafter there seems to be a graphics problem in that something as apparently simply as a directory listing produces random colours (largely black where white text should be!). If the podule ran OK in a RiscPC, this is not (only) a VIDC20 vs VIDC1 issue, though I have not yet experimented with "mode" commands in autoexec.bat or tried a clean DOS installation. Andrew
