Call for Workshops/Tutorials proposals
===============================================
The 13th International Conference on Parallel and Distributed
Computing, Applications and Technologies (PDCAT 2012)
14-16 December 2012, Beijing, China
http://cit.bjtu.edu.cn/pdcat2012/
Workshop/tutorial proposals Submission deadline : 1st July 2012
===============================================
The PDCAT 2012 Organizing Committee invites workshop/tutorial proposals for
PDCAT 2012 to be held in Beijing, China, in December 2012.
Workshop/tutorial proposals are invited on specific aspects of parallel
and distributed computing, particularly relating to the subject areas
indicated by the topics below. We encourage workshops/tutorials which will
discuss fundamental research issues driven by academic interests or more
applied industrial or commercial concerns. The format of the
workshop/tutorial will be determined by the organizers.
Workshops/tutorials can vary in length from a half day to a full day.
Having more than one co-organizer for a workshop/tutorial is strongly
advised.
Workshop proceedings will be published as part of the PDCAT 2012
proceedings. So, it is very important that high quality workshops are
accepted, and that workshop chairs observe strict quality strandards in
the selection of papers for their events. A selection of the best, extended
version of papers will be published in special issues of 5 international
journals: Journal of Supercomputing (SCI), Cybernetics and Systems (SCI),
Computers and Electrical Engineering (SCI),Journal of Internet Technology (SCI),
Journal of Interconnection Networks (EI).
Workshops/tutorials attendees should register to the main conference.
