Get yourself a proper Brother cartridge. This is blatant FUD. Quite a few models don't even have enough gear to employ some sort of DRM. Unless we're looking at bad designs in the non-manufacturer parts, it really shouldn't be a problem, if you're providing the same kind of material in a container that fits... There will be models that require workarounds. Is the amount of models where it's *impossible* even big enough? Well, certainly it ain't big enough to warrant the "with any printer" generalization?
