Any speed gain which can be noticed can be siginificant. In the case of an individual user it can come down to a CPU load of 99% instead of 101%, with video speed being a classic problem in the world of IBM and Lenovo hardware. I don't know if the difference can be noticed while playing an average video, so your thought could very well be quite right. --
