The YUM/RPM stuff is maintained by Bitwise, not Arca. Once again a
couple of people and the main developer is/was Russian and since the war
has left Russia and had close to no time for OS/2.
Bitwise maintains a lot of stuff, basically all the unixy stuff, Qt and
such.

I didn't know that was there. It's been a long time since I installed
the toolkit. The installer should work much better and modify the
config.sys, watch for the changes or better tell it to change config.1
or such so it doesn't accidentally break your OW install.
A lot of the extra stuff are things like the SOM compiler etc to build
WPS classes.
If you have the room it wouldn't hurt to install it. Keep an eye on SET
INCLUDE, LIB. Perhaps the PATH and LIBPATH, though it should be up to
date enough that it doesn't matter. Install an older toolkit with
defaults and things break.
