I guess that depended largely how far you were away from your switch (or what ever it's called). I was playing with the V90 USR Sportster back in the late 90s and had figured forcing some 42K connection brought a reliable connection, while 44K already gave frequent carrier losses. -- Andreas I use a Unix based operating system, which means I get laid almost as often as I have to reboot my computer.
