The really “pathetic bit of panhandling” is from those of a certain 
political persuasion who whine about Free-Software projects adopting codes 
of conduct and DEI policies to encourage participation. It’s particularly 
rich to hear them tie themselves in logical knots, trying to rationalize 
why exactly inclusivity policies would push their particular group out, as 
if they’re incapable of starting up their own Free-Software projects!
