I just started using it to telnet into a shell account.  Its simple to
use and works okay, although there's some screen refresh issues in vi.

I also noticed one telnet site I couldnt reach via windows/linux under
windows was readibly accessible via the shell account.  Ping also was
not able to trace the route properly under windows.
