Linux distro maker Valve gives free games access to registered Debian developers
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/01/24/valve_free_games_for_debian_developers/

Things are a moving fast in Linux world.

Firstly Valve ports their commercial games to Linux, then they make their own Linux
gaming distro Steam OS, a few months back they release their Linux gaming console,
a few days back their partners release 14 gaming supercomputers,
and now Valve treats registered Debian developers with free access to commercial games.

No doubt all the Linux Gaming Desktop supercomputers would be getting even more worlds,
levels, games and consoles now that Valve has struck the bargain of all bargains
with the freedom open source developers with action.

It is more opportuity for the embedded developers to grab their engines and make
more magic happen on consoles. And of course, there is prospect of
free access to gaming source code to make more things happen more quickly.
