I was guessing that perhaps what was put in a ZIP wrapper was a number 
of data files, rather than linux itself (which is presumably hosting 
Android unless the file in question is being booted), and that the 
poster was confused rather than a troll.  But there are trolls.  And I 
agree that google has too much to lose to screw around with unnecessary 
license violations.

(I don't know much about Android so should probably have left commenting 
to those who do, but one way to learn things is to say something stupid 
near people who know the topic. <g>)
