Hi USB support is very buggy in last release of Ubuntu, and I do not think this bugs are new: (1) When copying multiple files to the usb key the copying freezes after a while. (2) When the key is empty Nautilus shows that 3.5 GB are still occupied in a 16GB key. (3) When you try to "safely eject" Nautilus ALWAYS tells you that ejecting is impossible because an application is still using the key. The application in question is... Nautilus. To eject the key you have to reboot linux. I sticked the same key in a Mac (OSX) and everything works, so it is not the key itself. I think this bugs aren't really UBUNTU's. Could you check this? Just try copying several big films in a 16GB USB key. jacob
