You give me an idea, I'll say that. The idea is use a 3D printer to make an alternative top for the mouse. And perhaps make the parts I would need to do the job internally. I've been thinking about getting a 3D printer for a while. hmm. -- Marek Novotny https://github.com/marek-novotny

You'd need to fabricate to close tolerances and for that you'd need the manufacturer's drawings (blueprints). It's always much simpler to retrofit some existing design.

For example, what I have always wanted is a keyboard to facilitate the entry of mathematical equations. Using an ordinary keyboard to enter things like "x*y^(1/5)+a*(b+y)+c%d" requires too much shift key pressing. Being able to assemble a specialized keyboard to serve some specialized or personal function would be very useful.

Sounds like a potential business opportunity. Maybe that's where a fully touch screen keyboard comes into play. It could morph into what you need. -- Marek Novotny https://github.com/marek-novotny

They should all be linked to the same USB connection. The Comfort Ergoflex Keyboard is a step in the right direction. The ability to place the keypad on the LEFT SIDE is very nice. There are situations where I need to operate the mouse AND the keypad at the same time and with a conventional keyboard this action becomes very awkward (since I am right handed). If only this Comfort Ergoflex Keyboard had another portion containing programmable keys it would be close to ideal. Unfortunately this site offers no technical manuals for download.
