    Nothing running anything but Win7 is.

    What you are alluding to is a bad hack that only works on the latest
version of Windows because it's a new feature even there. This isn't just
about what nvidia provides. It also ties into what the OS provides. So 
you can't lay this all on nvidia.

    The general idea seems a bit retarded though.

    I buy Nvidia kit to GET AWAY from the crap from the other vendors. If
they want something that uses less power, then they should build their own
silicon to do this rather than depending on weird hacks.

    If you laptop is not junk, you can just choose to use the better part
full time and not mess around with the hack.
