While I agree that secular society has no ethical framework the question 
is which church. If you go back to the Investiture Controversy neither 
side was beyond reproach.  Centuries later Luther rebelled against Rome, 
allied with the princes, and laid the groundwork for the Thirty Years War. 
In that one you have Richelieu allying with the Protestants, putting 
religion aside to advance France against the Habsburgs.

I have no desire to live in a state where the so-called Christian Zionists 
are the church.
