And there is the slippery slope...  The Creationists are consistent in 
believing the biblical history is literally how it happened, six days and 
done. No going back for a redo and Noah managed to cram two of every 
species into the boat. Otherwise you have to start talking about 
metaphors, and a day back then was a few millennia, and so forth. So which 
parts are the literal truth? 

Then there is the cherry picking of Leviticus and so forth. If someone 
wants to use that in an argument, why aren't they also keeping kosher and 
all the other 613 rules and regulations? Oh, well they aren't in the new 
covenant. Then why are they still reading the torah? 

The deists are generally a little more consistent. Sometimes.
