Which explains why > "web apps" went nowhere. Actually... Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, and several others are chromium based, and we have few problems. If there is a problem, and it's usually a minor rendering inconsistency, it's with Firefox. Modern frameworks like Angular have quite a bit of support for the various browsers, including mobile devices. You are living under a rock if you think 'web apps' went no where.
