No, it seems to be either one extreme or the other. I believe Queensland
had a hell of a time with floods & extreme weather recently.
In May the Mississippi rose 48 feet above normal levels. They had to open
sluice gates on a dam in Morganza to try & prevent New Orleans from
flooding, but that caused flooding in southern Louisiana soaking thousands
of acres of croplands.
