As noted <A hRef="http://drbj.hubpages.com/hub/Old-Age-Aint-for-Sissies" target=_blank>Here</A>, Woody Allen said: <<

You can live to be 100 if you give up
all the things that make you WANT to live to be 100. >>

"'Live faster, die sooner' or not" is our biggest "choice".

Living to 100, and feeling PAIN with each and every heartbeat,
is NOT ( or should NOT ) be your goal, Gregory⋅Hall.

Oxygen is slowly killing you, so why don't you stop breathing ?
Switch the word "breathing" with "smoking".

<A hRef="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18728759" target=_blank>Here</A>, "The National Center for Biotechnology Information" says: <<

Honey bee ( Apis mellifera ) life span
varies from a few weeks to more than 2 years.
This plasticity is largely controlled by ⋅environmental⋅ factors.
  [...]
When workers switch from nest to foraging tasks [ breathing harder ],
  [ there's ] a rapid increase in mortality.
  [...]
  Moreover, during unfavourable periods,
when brood rearing and foraging ceases,
a third worker sub-caste develops ( diutinus or ‘winter’ bees ).

  This sub-caste is characterized by
an extreme life span potential of up to 1 year. >>
