Top 3 updates:

1) A Cleaner Interface - including better fitting the system themes
2) Better Performance
3) An Improved Writer - including better docx import

1) Yes... UI work is important.  I keep saying that and noting how the open
source community is picking up steam in this area.  OO3 had a huge focus on
this... good to see it continue.

2) Better Performance is always a good thing... though OO3 made huge strides
in that area and I do not expect to see as big of a jump here.  Maybe I will
be proved wrong (I have not downloaded the beta).

3) Better DOCX support is very, very important.  I know many in COLA say it
is fine now... but it is not.  Not close.  Good to see this was a high
priority.

I look forward to trying it.  They say nothing of the example I have been
using - image rotation... but I saw nothing on the fixes for styles that
have already been included (and a very important and good update that was).

There may come a time when LibreOffice is a true competitor to MS Office.
