Note that living space is also not a constraining factor. Water 
desalination is dependent on energy, so solve energy and you solve water.

In terms of agriculture, we are currently in a process of global greening, 
so we will be able to get bigger harvests. Add to that all the interesting 
science surrounding GMO, better chemicals, fertilizers, perhaps farming 
the ocean floor etc. and there is no need to worry.
