David Murray, aka the 8-Bit-Guy, is designing a modern equivalent of the
VIC-20 using off the shelf components and Commodore Basic.

Currently, the product is near finalization for the motherboard and they
plan on launching their kickstarter soon to begin production runs.

The image of the kernal will include a copy of GEOS. It would be
remarkable if we could kickstart new application development to exploit
the larger memory availability of the Commander X16.

Hoping there's enough lurkers in here to take interest.
