UPDATE: As of June 3rd 7:45 CEST, Meta/Facebook Pixel script is no
longer sending any packets or requests to localhost. The code
responsible for sending the _fbp cookie has been almost completely
removed. Yandex has also stopped the practice we describe below.

They probably switched to something else.

Yes, but even if they didn't, Meta is clearly not interested in the
law. You really don't want this stuff on your phone. Don't give them
anything.

That's why I don't even have a Meta account, let alone on my phone.

Same here. Yandex? Putin's spies?

And I hope Zuckerberg's activities get under permanent and thorough
scrutiny in the EU with dire consequences in the case of non-compliance
with EU-privacy laws.

But you have Googles Android on your phone (with their their
ads-and-what-all-not-more supporting layer(s) ) ?

IOW, trying to keep one thief outof your house doesn't mean much as long as
you allow another thief to stay.

Rudy Wieser.

It is quite naive to believe they really stopped their illegal and
criminal activities. Too much money involved.
