Is there something underlying notifications? I am adrift! I was in Peru for 11 days, and now I'm getting frequent notifications of something from the cellular company I used and from the computer store where I bought a wireless mouse. I could turn off the notifications for each of these, but would there still be something sent to me, in the background I guess, and the only change would be that I wouldn't be notifiied of it???? I get maybe 4 a day so over a year there would be 1500 of these in a pile somewhere, never recycled, gathering dust, maybe mold and mildew, attacting flies, maybe rodents. After 10 years there would be more than 15,000 and even though they are small, they are not that small and I envision them seeping out between the front and back sides of the case, getting over my hands and clothes, and possibly dripping into the food I'm eating. I don't want this to happen. As I write, I think maybe I could dissociate myself from the cellular company, but I'm not associated with the computer store. They just got my phone number because I called them before I went there. How does one normally stop someone from sending things worthy of notification?
