As soon as a get it all put back together so I can do useful work again
I am going to get Mozilla OFF of my machines and make a strong case to
my wife that we get it off of hers.

Came down stairs, running late, needed to look something up.

Mozzilla had REINSTALLED Firefox, and Noscript and AdBlockPlus, and had
wiped all the config stuff I'd done AND wiped all the whitelists.

Was it set to auto-update? I've had favorite .css things and extensions
disabled by an update (always voluntary, NEVER automatic), but that's
about it.

If all my config stuff disappeared I might at least think about opening
a vein...

You don't seem to be competent at using a computer. Try a pencil and paper.

The Crap that was installed unbidden closes the window when the last tab
is x'd. The used to be a way to stop that but I can not find it now.

Anybody got an idea?

Never mind--go into the config and toggle
browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab

No. There's not enough context.
