Good questions, but I was afraid of info overload, so limited it to what I thought was relevant. Expanding it a bit: Dell something or other under Windows 10 at current patch level; no changes that I am aware of*; reboots, changed display setting (intention: force "bing to re-think it), deleted various cookie-sets--including "all", tried to force (to unknown success) to get "bing" to reload, reviewed registry settings (none changed), looked for (and didn't find) any relevant "bing" settings. > Also, what has 'bing' got to do with this mix? Other stuff displayed by the same instance of Firefox is displayed rationally. Do other search > engines or web browsers have the same problem? Have not tried them. I am afraid of IE, didn't think of Edge. I will go see if I cat get that to display (I have not figured out how to point Edge at what I want to see.) Be right back. [tempus fidgets] Good suggestion--Edge displays it normally. Firefox still does not. Don't know yet how to use that intelligence. > David Thanks for looking at it. *two kinds of changes, right? "none that I am aware of" and "can't possibly be relevant". All of mine are in the former category. -- quis custodiet ipsos custodes? -- Juvenal
