I checked out the URL and it's a half decent list.  Lots of other
relevant things still apply.  This generation hasn't ever come close to
needing to wind up a cassette tape's innards with a pencil, for example.

A generation for which Google has always existed is sort of scary
though, if you think about it.  It's also a generation that knows
nothing of Apple pre OS 7 and those cute, colored iMacs that heralded
Steve Jobs' return to Apple and the beginning of a reversal of Apple's
fortunes that continues to this day with Apple's astounding market cap.

Was thinking too, this was a generation for whom the public library is a
bit of a quaint anachronism that remains a hairsbreadth away from
getting defunded ("and who cares? It's all on the internet anyway, blah
balh blah").

Going to be a weird generation that scarcely cares what a folded,
printed map is, and will be unable to navigate its way from the kitchen
to the toilet without Google Maps or equivalent giving turn-by-turn
directions ...

Bah, humbug.  I'm too young to be this curmudgeonly :)
