I'm very happy to get all the alpine functionality in one package and the help files are quite good as well. Of course there are things that I miss, and some thing which are a bit clunky, but overall, the combination of ease of use, with power features strikes a good balance for me, compared with the other main competitor mutt (or neomutt). But... the source is there, so I console myself with the thought, that _if_ a feature is important enough, in theory, I could always write it myself. ;)
