Hi folks.  Just restarting a thread that I started in March.

Following up on that, I've tried a bunch of stuff.  

.bashrc has only this:

export PATH="$PATH:$HOME/.rvm/bin" # Add RVM to PATH for scripting

which gem:

/usr/bin/gem

gem --version:

2.2.1

It looks like I'm using the wrong gem, as .bashrc is being called after .bash_profile?
