I'm trying to use Python Editor v5 for Chromebooks. It works fine, except it won't read data files. I'm just wondering if anyone else is using this editor and has found a solution to this problem.

Sorry, haven't tried it. On my Chromebook I SSH into a Linux host and
use Emacs for code editing. I also use Crouton to run Ubuntu Linux in
a chroot shell on my Chromebook, so I can run a native Python locally
when I want, but I still just use Emacs for that.
