No numbers, but from my stance, the four largest areas where Python is used
appear to be (in increasing line length order):

a) web applications
b) scripting and tooling
c) high-performance computation
d) testing (non-Python/embedded/whatever code)

I'm sure others will manage to remind me of the one or two I forgot...
