And what architecture (32-bit or 64-bit)? Exactly what file did you download, and from where? The more information you can provide, the easier it will be to figure out what's going on. ChrisA

But, if the python was installed as part of any software package that you have installed in your system, then it requires that specific software to be uninstalled a prior its un-installation.
