It was supposed to show you that you can use a command line function from windows or linux that will play an ogg/.wav file/ etc with an if windows: do this or if linux do this. espeak was just a suggestion, unless you want your own voice played for the chatbot, or a selection of a male or female voice, and why ogg, why not wav?
