Why (not)? > By the wikipedia definition of 4GL and 5GL, I'd say Python is neither. And it's not a VHLL either, again according to the wikipedia definition. But IMO it is too high level to be a traditional 3GL too. Perhaps "Scripting language" is the best general category we have that Python fits into. But I hope not.
