Provide the full reference to the installer package -- was it from
Python.org, ActiveState?
What version of Windows (and are you fully up to date on patches)?
Sounds like you may be missing some part of the M$ Installer itself --
or have a third party Python installer that is not providing a needed DLL
that is not part of standard Windows.
