If you installed it yourself, then you have to retrace what steps you took to install it in order to remove it. Did you get it from python.org? Did you get it from ActiveState? Did you get it from MacPorts? From brew? How you uninstall it is different depending on where it came from. If you didn't install it yourself, then either somebody else installed it for you, or it came with your mac, and Apple installed it for you. If this is the system version of Python that Apple installed for you that you are talking about, then it may not be a good idea for you to uninstall it at all. Apple's own software for internal housekeeping may require Python in order to work properly. Laura
