   i've been noticing that  some Python-list folks  have
          the header(?) set up improperly so that...

  their posts are cluttering up some  Newsreader  panes.

   their posts (all with the same SUBJ lines)
           don't stay in the same thread, and
                       end up looking like Drive-by spam.

i didn't write that...      some Usenet-Nazi type guy wrote that.
