What would they call it... It sure wouldn't be "MicroSoft Visual C
RunTime".
Note that the documentation for msvcrt states that /it/ is how the
getpass module is implemented on Windows.
Take a look at the bottom of getpass.py and look at the loops it has
to do to handle three different environments.
