I don't know how much hardware you're going to devote to this or how many other services are going to be on the same computer, but you should be able to do that no problem at all; basic statisticking isn't difficult. The slowest part is likely to be networking (esp if you have to do DNS lookups), so you'll want to make sure everything's done asynchronously - either with threads or with async queries and so on. I'd say this will be fairly easy. ChrisA
