As soon as I learned someone was using bluetooth presence to determine

The only reason bluetooth is active on my phone is that my landline
cordless phone can pair with the cell phone -- allowing me to answer the
cell phone using anyone of the four cordless handsets scattered around my
apartment (bedroom, spare room, main room, basement).
