Hi Helge Your "recipe" works very nicely - thanks a lot for that - except for one refinement that would probably be nice: When black text is printed on a background color other than white, in my case a light cyan, that background color is carved out to white; and as far as I remember from my prepress-time, it is difficult for the printer to avoid white margins around the glyphs if the background color is white and not not the same under the glyps as around them also. Can this be taken into consideration e.g. in forceblack.ps? (I unfortunately don't feel competent in Postscript to quickly figure that out myself.) Thanks a lot for your time! Ole
